How long does it take to transfer a domain to Solelyweb?

For Generic top-level domains (gTLD)

Once the transfer is confirmed, your previous registrar should release the domain within up to 2-7 calendar days to approve the transfer. (In some instances you should recieve an email from your previous registrar as well to confirm the transfer).

For .uk, co.uk, me.uk, org.uk, .wales, .cymru domains

After your current registrar changes the IPS tag to ENOM. Some providers will allow you do this through a control panel. The transfer will be completed between 1 - 4 days.

Need to know: If your website does not work straightaway that is because the DNS cache hasn't been updated. It can take up to two hours or ask your current registrar to change the name servers for your domain to ours. Then you can start with your website right away. Our name servers are: ns1.solelyweb.com and ns2.solelyweb.com
