What is IMAP?
IMAP stands for Internet Message Access Protocol. IMAP is one of the most popular internet protocols that is used to access emails from your mail server. The main difference between IMAP and POP3 is that the former allows multiple clients to access emails simultaneous from difference devices and retains emails for further access via webmail or any mail preferred mail program. Also, IMAP support features such as deleted, read and unread messages.
